Stripes seek second consecutive victory

Birkirkara FC will be seeking for the second consecutive victory in the BOV Premier League, when this afternoon they take on Tarxien Rainbows FC.
Following back-to-back defeats with an identical 3-0 score against Valletta FC and Sliema Wanderers FC, the Stripes bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Lija Athletic. For the Stripes, this was the third victory in eight matches to put them in safer waters at the eighth place.
On the other hand, after obtaining three positive results including two identical 2-1 victories over Sliema Wanderers FC and Naxxar Lions FC respectively, Tarxien Rainbows fell for a heavy 6-0 defeat against Valletta FC in their last match. The Rainbows are currently at the eleventh place.
The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and it will kick off at 17:15.
