Dimitrov wins BOV Player of the month of August

Birkirkara FC technical midfielder Srdjan Dimitrov stole the limelight during the first two matches of the BOV premier League and he has been voted as the BOV Player for the Month of August.

Srdjan was voted the BOV Player of the Match in the opening fixture against St. Andrew's that saw the Stripes winning with a 4-0 score. Dimitrov's opening goal with a brilliant header paved the way for another three goals in the second half.

He proved his set-piece skills twice in last match against Tarxien Rainbows, when first he delivered an excellent free-kick to Plut to open the score. Then he went to to strike a wonderful direct free-kick to double Birkirkara's score and make them two goals from two matches for him.
