Efficient Stripes makes it to the next round

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team advanced to the third round of the Youths' Knockout when they registered a comfortable victory over Section D side Kirkop United FC with a 3-0 score thanks to a goal each by Diego Bartolotta, Liam Reno Gatt and Ryan Vella.

Bartolotta and Gatt opened a two-goal cushion in the first-half before substitute Ryan Vella wrapped-up the victory with the third goal. The Stripes will now face Section B side Qormi in the third round of the competition. The match is scheduled to be played between the 1 and 4 February.
