Brilliant Under-19's Team defeat Pieta Hotspurs

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team registered their second victory in the Youths League Section A as inspired by a brilliant performance of debutant Josef Willy who netted a brace after the opening goal by Clint Zammit, they defeated Pieta Hotspurs with comfortable 3-0 score.

The Stripes had to wait till the sixth game to register their first victory following three defeats and two draws but following a narrow 1-0 victory over San Gwann in the last match, they continued to improve and produced the best performance so far against Pieta Hotspurs to take maximum points from the last two matches.

Clint Zammit opened the score in the first half following an assist by Timmy Muscat and Birkirkara ended the first-half enjoying a narrow lead before two goals by Josef Willy who had an outstanding performance sealed the issue for a comfortable 3-0 victory.
