Under-19's Team in a goal-less draw against St. Andrew's

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team gained the first point in the Youths League Section A when they shared the spoils with St. Andrew's in a goal-less draw.
The Stripes went close early in the match when Clint Zammit had his shot blocked by the goalkeeper and Enrio Scerri's shot from the rebound ended wide. St. Andrew's were denied by a great save of goalkeeper Clyde Xuereb before half-time, while in the final moments of the match, the Stripes had strong protests for a penalty which were turned down after Enrico Scerri was floored inside the box.
