U15 Stripes draw with San Gwann

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team have to wait for the next match in order to secure the APS Bank Under-15's League Section A title, as they only managed to grab a 1-1 draw against San Gwann.

In a match that came to life in the last fifteen minutes, the Stripes opened the score thanks to a wonderful free-kick by Ayrton Attard. San Gwann levelled matters just five minutes later, and both teams had to settle for a draw.

With this result, second-placed Mosta, who defeated Hibernians with a 1-0 score earlier in the day, narrowed the gap to three points and therefore the Stripes must at least draw with Hibernians in the next and last match to win the league.
