Under-15s Team heads to play-offs with two point lead

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team assured themselves that they will be heading to the championship play-offs, consisting of the last three matches, with a two-point lead over Mosta, when a goal by Zak Grech gave them a narrow 1-0 victory over Sliema Wanderers FC.

In a match that saw the Stripes dominating for long stretches, they were made to wait till seven minutes into the second half to score the all-important goal thanks to Zak Grech. Birkirkara created several scoring opportunities that could have seen them registering a bigger win.
