Under-19's Team open league commitments with a loss

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team started their title defence on the wrong foot when in the first match of the Youths League Section A, they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Mosta FC.

In a similar start to the previous memorable league campaign, the Stripes started their commitments with a narrow loss against Mosta. Dylan Caruana's strike made all the difference for the Blues who scored the winning goal inside the second half.

Birkirkara will be involved in the second match of the league in a month's time when on Tuesday, 30 October, they will face Zabbar St. Patrick's FC. The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.

First Eleven: Justin Tonna, Aaron Montebello, Leon Zammit, Maximilian Borg Bartolo, Dylan Aquilina, Jonathan Licari, Andrea Curmi, Christian Briffa, Leon Muscat, Kurt Zammit, Russell Gatt De Raffaele.
